Mission:

As a rapidly growing technology company, Airvana faced several challenges, not the least of which were how to manage a major relocation under a management team fully immersed in core business activity, and how to obtain the skills required for an out-of-the-norm facility expansion program. Their answer was to partner with C.R.E.source for its experience in real estate planning and facility development. Airvana selected C.R.E.source to support them through their lease negotiations and to mange their building improvements, fit-up and move activities.

Actions:

C.R.E.source began adding value before the start of design by collaborating with Airvana’s pre-construction team; developing realistic schedules and negotiating lease conditions that minimized Airvana’s rent exposure. The value of that effort extended beyond initial delivery and provided measurable benefits for Airvana through the term of their occupancy. C.R.E.source was able to direct a build-out process that proceeded efficiently and effectively, as evidenced by the timely completion and predictable cost of the final product. Throughout the building process the landlord’s representatives were informed and fully engaged in what proved to be a model working relationship.
